Éric VINCENT
AUTHOR, NARRATIVE AND GAME DESIGNER
TO KNOW MORE ABOUT ME
Born in Montréal, Canada, I am a Québécois and French citizen currently living in Lyon, France, where I have been based for the past five years. I have been writing stories since I was eight years old, thanks to school where creative classes helped me discover my passion for well-crafted narratives and friends that were eager to read them.
Naturally curious from a young age, I have explored a wide range of activities including sports such as English boxing, rugby, running, tennis, and climbing, as well as creative pursuits. Reading has always been my primary passion, alongside video games. I am also a painter and a published poet.
In parallel with my professional experiences, I started writing 2083 following a trip on the Camino de Santiago that inspired me to write about the territory I had discovered on foot. This intense writing activity pleased me a lot and, after the publication of the novel, I realized that the job I wanted to do had to be related to writing and video games.
Through my previous professional experience in banking and pharmaceuticals, I developed skills in lead generation, project management, data analysis, and communication. I also applied these skills in volunteer roles, contributing to a mental health awareness organization (Movendo) and an artistic association (Gamut), serving as a board member and Treasurer for both. These experiences have equipped me with strong organizational and collaborative abilities that I now bring to my work as a game and narrative designer.
My personal and professional experiences have shaped my creativity and adaptability - skills I’m eager to contribute to your projects. I would be delighted to discuss a potential collaboration; you can reach me at eric.vincent.rouville@gmail.com.
